We contacted Steve as we needed our conservatory roof replaced. He came round and provided us with an estimate for the works very promptly unlike some people we have used. When undertaking the works he was a very tidy worker and done an amazing job. We then asked him to replace some of our broken down window units and some handles and hinges that were broken, he even cleaned all of the windows that he worked on. Steve took out a fireplace, plasterboarded the opening and plastered it, repaired all the walls and re-plastered the ceiling and painted all the walls and ceiling. He also built some steps outside. The work carried out at my property by Steven was second to none. I was given his number by a collegue who couldn't recommend him enough. I was concerned that the work of which needed to be carried out on the property was a specialist job, however Steven's wide knowledge in construction, engineering, decorating, window fitting and lots more is absolutely vast. The title 'Handy Man' as Steve advertises himself as, really does under estimate the work he produces and is capable of. The chimney stack needed urgent repair. Steve gave me a detailed estimate, making the work involved very clear. A price for all equipment needed (eg scaffolding) was incorporated in the quote, as was the removal of all building related waste from the site and leaving it clean and in a satisfactory condition on completion. The job really was completed from beginning to end; no added extras, which historically seems to happen when having work done!! Throughout the work being carried out, Steven was professional, he spent a week working on my property; he was a helpful, friendly and yet discreet - noise, mess and stress were minimal. As my colleague had highly recommended Steven, So do I. The title 'Handy Man' covers a wide range of skills, however it does not do Steven justice - he has a wealth of knowledge and a fantastic portfolio of work.

We just had to leave a review for Steve and his team, as we are so pleased with the quality of work he has undertaken on our behalf. We first used Steve to update the interior of our house - he painted our lounge and hallway, lots of woodwork painted and we had some large cracks in our hallway which Steve filled prior to painting. Steve and co were very reliable, pleasant and tidy, they arrived on time and got the job done to a very high standard (I am quite fussy!) We then had Steve back to fit a new bathroom suite for us, it was rather involved as we wanted a new layout which required new pipes being run, walls plastered and re-tiled. The end result is fantastic, we are over the moon and we will not be using anyone but him in the future!

We were very pleased with the manhole cover that Steve renewed for us, as the old one had collapsed. We were so pleased with the job that we got Steve back to board a large area in our loft, which we are very happy with, also we had electrics done in our lounge.

I've used Steve and his team for three jobs now, with one more in the pipeline. Once was for a redecoration of a lounge in a flat, the second for a complete redecoration of a bungalow and the third for a partial repair to a bathroom involving a new false wall, re-tiling and the fitting of new taps, shower and shower screen. All work has been carried out to a high standard.
